Technical Details

The below section will outline how K4 Rally utilises the ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens.

Non-Fungible Tokens

In K4 Rally, a collectible - a non-fungible token [NFT] - is a piece of digital asset that is unique. As an NFT, a collectible can be fully owned by a player, with that player having the ultimate permission to use, upgrade, trade or sell the Collectible.

Most critical game content in K4 Rally is comprised of NFTs: Race Cars, Race Drivers, Co-Drivers, Car Parts with all of them improving the performance of the NFT Car and other ingame benefits like discounts in various game actions.

For example, a Race Driver Token can be leveled up and gain more experience, and will so impact the Driver’s Car base stats, granting better potential performance during the Racing Game.

All NFTs in K4 Rally will be compliant with the ERC-721 standard.

Fungible Tokens

A fungible token [FT] is a non-unique and mutually interchangeable token build on the ERC-20 standart. K4 Rally utilizes two ERC-20 tokens for the gameplay.

$K4R

$K4R is the in-game fungible token. $K4R - like the collectibles - can be fully owned by a Player, but rather than acting as a piece of unique digital asset within the game, K4R acts as the game’s primary currency. This currency is used in a number of ways: to upgrade and level your car, to purchase new cars and car parts, to purchase race drivers and co-drivers, as a player reward for completing and winning or special event races, certain actions or achievements, and to use as rewards for Rally Tournaments. The user can also stake his $K4R and earn even more!

$BRL

This token represents the players gained ingame experience and is used to level his NFT's and digital assets. $BRL can be optained by farming in single player mode or bought and sold, on the open market from and to other players.

$K4R and $BRL are built on the ERC-20 standard. The total minting volume and distribution manner for $K4R is explained in the chapter K4R Rallytoken.
