# Progress / Level Up

Tuk Tuks will all individually level-up, progressively improving their performance (not only in driving, but also in collecting rewards). The levelling-up will be a key factor in Tuk-Tuk value – with lower-tier Tuk-Tuks levelling slow and being capped and more valuable NFT-ones having boosts in different categories (levelling faster) or unlocked categories. This mechanic will be individual for different Tuk-Tuks.

To level up a Tuk-Tuk, players will have to use a growing amount of items – obtainable in repeating different drives and meeting challenges – these items will generally have no cost (except the growing grinding time) – but booster packs will be available for purchase.

Every 5-10 levels, there will also be a gateway where a special part needs to be installed, generally costing TUK TUK TOKENS, but sometimes obtainable over a prolonged grind or as a special reward.&#x20;

Tuk Tuk level determines the following key impacts:

* Higher level (and part-carrying) Tuk Tuks generally perform better in all modes (and generate more grind items)
* Certain level Tuk Tuks are the prerequisite of unlocking special tracks and challenges and to enter specific higher-tier game-modes
* Higher level Tuk Tuks are allowed to higher tier races featuring higher rewards and prizes

&#x20;Generally, the aim of the game is to convert players to own multiple high-level Tuk-Tuks with various qualities and use them for monetized tournaments and PvP modes.<br>
